PAPER CAKE, by long-time Seattle Chef Rachel Yang of Joule and Revel and talented Pastry Chef Gabby Park, invites you to experience the joy of layer cake, whether it's for life's grand celebrations or your everyday moments of indulgence.

Indulge in the everyday luxury of our nostalgic slab -style sheet cakes that not only look delicious and lovely and but also excite your taste buds with a unique Asian flavor profile. Crafted with the finest ingredients, our cakes boast homemade sponges, creamy buttercream, and perfect fillings. What sets us apart is the perfect balance – our cakes are not overly sweet, allowing the richness of flavors to shine through.

Event Sheet Cake Order

Paper cake offers large sheet cakes for any events. For larger parties, we can offer 12” x 16”.

For about 32 guests: 12” x 16” starting at cake $248

  • ONLY available in current flavors on the menu

Custom Flavor Cake Order

Paper cake can make your own special cake with varieties of sponges/ fillings/ frostings from what we offer. Or bring a flavor back that you loved from our previous menu. No theme or different shapes please.

  • Only available in 12” x 16” cake starting at $350

  • 2 week advance order required

Wedding Sheet Cake Order

Paper wedding sheet cakes are decorated with custom border treatment and raised cake boards. You can order multiple sheet cakes with different flavors or create a special moment with our long cakes (see below!).

  • 4 week advance order required

  • Current flavor cake tasting available for a fee

CAKE CARE

Storage Instruction

We recommend keeping the cake no more than 4 days in the fridge unsliced and no more than 24 hours after sliced. Once sliced, please use parchment paper or plastic wrap to cover the exposed sponge at all times. Please note that the dry garnishes may not last in the fridge.

Serving Instruction

Please serve the cake at room temperature. The buttercream needs to be tempered and will take at least 2 hours in the room temperature for the unsliced whole cakes. The suggested serving size is 2" x 2"or 1" x 4".

Slicing Instruction

Please use a long chef's knife, hot water and clean cloth when slicing. Dip the knife in hot water, then wipe dry before slicing each slices. Please use clean flat wide spatula when plating the cake.
